Keenans Reaching Romania

Fall Update 10/04/2009

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a little update on how our progress to Romania is coming.

We don’t have a date for when we are leaving yet but we are hoping (Lord willing) to be able to leave in late spring or early summer of 2010.  PLEASE PRAY the Lord would have HIS hands in our plans and that He would show us when we can leave.

Costin has received his 10 year green card (praise God for answering that prayer) and now just has to apply for a Re-entry permit for himself and the passports for AnnaRose and the new baby when she arrives…speaking of which...

It’s a girl! I am due on January 4th and we can’t wait to welcome this new addition to our family.

We are still trying to put together a team of people who would be willing to pray for us and/or help with organizing things for us here while we are gone.

We will try to keep you updated as things start coming together.  We thank you for taking the time to read this!

May God bless and keep you in His peace

          Jude 1: 20-21

20 But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, 21 and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life.

Hi everyone!

It's been awhile since I have written an update on my family and what is going on with our future ministry in Romania.  I hope this email will find you well and that you are blessed every day by God’s grace.

Things have been great for us. God is good all the time.  We have been busy with our daily things to do. I'm still working at Zale’s Jewelers and I'm loving it. Hours are not so great but I have to admit I still have a job even though the Economy is been not so good on people.  Our store is still open and still doing business.

My wife is still at home with Anna Rose. She has wonderful parents that are letting us invade the house till we leave for Romania, which is great. He has blessed us with that. Thank you Ed and Robyn.

My wife Elizabeth and our daughter Anna Rose are just getting over an illness. Elizabeth is been having allergy attacks for like 2 months now.  So would you lift them in your prayers: pray that God will heal them and watch over them.

Anna rose is great. I love her more and more every day. She is starting to walk. In fact last I got home and I was trying to get her to walk up to me but she was having trouble taking those steps. But I had her standing up and she her arms open wide, her big smile so sweet doing her best but not quite there.  I just love those moments.  I pray that I'm there when she takes her first steps on her own. She is amazing and she just brings joy to our hearts.  When she smiles it just melts your heart looking at her.  Reminds me of Jesus taking us in and comforting us with words like: I love you, I will never leave you or forsake you!

You could tell I love my daughter. She loves being home with Mommy. She likes to be held a lot.

Our plans for Romania are still coming along. The heart that God has giving me for Romania is still full of excitement. We are still going and we are still planning. Things are going slow but God’s timing is the best. Right now I'm working on my green card. My current green card is expiringin 3 months so I have filled out paperwork for my next one.  Keep me in prayer that I will have everything I need to sent out.

Please pray that God will provide the money to pay for the green card and Anna’s passport. And many other things.  I trust Him in everything.

Other awesome news:   we are going to have another baby!!!!! Elizabeth find out about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Isn't that amazing? We are really excited about that and we can't wait till that big day. God is good!  Sometime in early January 2010.

Well that's about it right now. I will probably write another update next week to let you know about our missions in Romania and how you could help to be a part of that if you will.  Till then May God’s riches be upon each of you. May He fill you with His joy daily.

Thank you for your prayers!

All because of Him,

Costi, Elizabeth and Anna Rose

Updates

The last year has been full of big changes and decisions. At the beginning of 2008 we thought we would be moving to Romania by Oct of that year. The Lord closed that door for us because of Costin’s visa status.  Now, Lord willing, we are planning to leave some time in the spring of 2010. We have had several invitations to join different ministries over there. After praying about it we think we will be moving to the village of Ciorani to help out with the Quarles family. They have been ministering in Romania for many years and knew Costin as a boy.

There are many things that need to come together for us to make this move so we hope you will all be praying for us as we prepare for this journey!  If you would like to be a part of our sending team we would love to hear from you!  We need prayer warriors as well as people who can handle things here for us while we are gone. If you have any talent or skills that you think the Lord wants you to put to use with us just let us know.

May God Bless you all and keep you!
