I’m always Thankful for what God has done and For What He is going to do as we walk with Him. Yes they are times of sorrow but With God Sorrows turn into Blessings.
My Testimony
I was raised in an orphanage. I never had the love that most families give to their child. I was there for a long time. I was also transferred to quite a few places as I was growing up. Living in places like that was hard on me knowing that I was missing something inside of my heart.
The last orphanage where I lived was when I came to know what God had for me. It started like this:
In the summer of 1999, I met my family-to-be. I was 14 years old. A team from America was there. It was Calvary Chapel Huntington Beach that came and took us for 8 days to a camp. They told us bible stories, played games and other things that helped us realize that Jesus loved us and that He died for us. While at the camp, I got even closer to this family. They had 3 kids at the time, and I started to love them like my own family. They have given me the hope and the attention that I never had while at the orphanage. I had really sensed there was something in these people that I wanted. Not only spending time with me but also Jesus Christ. While on my birthday day in 2000, this same family that I loved dearly arrived in Romania to be long-term missionaries. They came to the orphanage where I lived to wish me a ‘Happy Birthday’. I turned 15 on that day. It was a really happy day. The time came to go to the camp again. By that time, I was part of their family. They asked me if they could adopt me, so of course I said “yes”. In the summer of 2000 I came to know Jesus Christ as my Savior. Steve Quarles was teaching that night and I raised my hand not knowing what I’m doing. But later he explained to us that now we are ‘New in Christ’. Ever since that, God has changed my life. I had a home that I could live with an awesome family. I couldn’t ask for a better family than them. Now I have 4 other siblings. I also have a Savior that saved my life, giving me hope daily. Thank you Jesus.

While my husband is outgoing and good at being out on the "front line" talking and ministering to people. I am more of a background person. :o) I enjoy taking care of my family and being a support to my husband. I am very excited about going to Romania and being able to serve God there.
My Testimony
I was raised in a Christian home and went to church all my life. but I was a bitter kid who was always mad about something and thought the world should revolve around me. I came to the Lord in 2000 at a Jr. high summer camp. The Lord filled my heart with His awesome love and I became a new person. Since then he has been my source of comfort and a friend when I had none.
